their great grandfather Pappy hung five keys on his distillery door representing the five key steps to making his fine bourbon (grains, yeast, fermentation and distillation). Pappy’s famous label was Old Fitzgerald, which he termed “Your key to hospitality”. So when they founded Pappy & Company they wanted their logo to represent the three keys of them founding sisters of Pappy & Company, and their commitment to their bourbon heritage.
